Cabot Room

The room is named after Italian born explorer John Cabot who in May 1497, with the support of the English King Henry VII, sailed west from Bristol on the Matthew in the hope of finding a route to Asia. On 24 June he sighted land and called it New-found-land and claimed it for England.

The Cabot Room is a large, airy and versatile space with its own stage and can seat 200 people theatre style. Internet, telephone and power points are situated around the room. The room is air-conditioned and has natural daylight with blackout blinds.
